Dr. Daniel W. Todd is a seasoned Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with over 25 years of
dedicated service to the Sioux Falls area. With a long-standing interest in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), Dr. Todd has been using this innovative treatment for his head and neck cancer patients since the beginning of his training. His fascination with HBOT deepened when he witnessed the transformative effects HBOT had on his wife’s inflammatory condition, an experience that illuminated the therapy’s potential beyond conventional applications.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Todd enjoys spending time with his growing family, staying
physically active, and pursuing his passion for flying gyroplanes—a hobby he took up during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also engages in thoughtful discussions about religion, creation, evolution, and soteriology, reflecting his deep intellectual curiosity.
Nicole first became interested in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) after helping a friend with ulcerative colitis get in and out of a home chamber after other physicians had given up hope, recommending a colectomy or predicting imminent death.
Against the odds, her friend experienced a profound improvement through low-pressure HBOT, essentially curing herself. Inspired by this success, Nicole joined in using hyperbaric therapy observing a significant reduction in her own inflammatory conditions and became a staunch advocate for HBOT's broader applications.
Nicole is a woman of faith with a profound love for God, her family, and her friends. In her free
time, she delights in experimenting with new recipes, baking sourdough bread, and cherishing
moments with her family, including her children and grandchildren. Her life has been a
testament to caring for others, whether as a devoted stay-at-home mom, a bed and breakfast
owner, or through her extensive volunteer work in her community and church.
